Choosing a good business broker takes some common sense and asking the right questions. How many businesses has he sold? How many of those were actually his listings? What are his marketing methods? Does the broker have credentials such as a Certified Business Intermediary designation? How many years of actual business brokerage experience does he have? Is his office professional and well located? Does he have quality office support? Answer these questions and your choice should be obvious.
